How To Lose 3kg in 10 Days With 2Sad Diet

I reported here that Wifey and I were on the 2Sad diet. (2 Shakes a Day). I’m going to show you how to lose 3kg in 10 days.

I wanted to get back to you with the results from 10 days but before I reveal how much weight we lost I wanted to teach you more about the 2Sad diet and the benefits it will bring.

Remember the 2sad diet is a meal replacement diet. We are substituting breakfast and lunch with diet shake, or protein shake.

When most people hear the phrase “protein shake” they instantly think of body builders have a shake as part of their muscle building regime.

The protein shakes we are having are not designed to build muscle, though I could do with some, they are purely to give our body an amount of protein that will keep us feeling full until our next meal.

Which Meal Replacement Shake Is Best To Lose 3kg in 10 Days

As I said here, we use two brands of protein powder.

The first is Slim and Trim meal replacement shake. We buy them from Aldi for $2.00 a sachet.

Calories: 208
Protein: 18g
Fat: 2.3g
Carbs: 26.6

Admittedly the carb count is high but with the acceptable level being 10g or under per 100g, this comes in at 11g per 100g. I am comfortable with this.

They have 4 flavours and I have found all four to be very tasty. We shake them with half cold water and half low fat milk.

We have this one at 10am or thereabouts.

By 2pm I am looking at my second shake for the day. This one is the Atkins brand of protein shake.

How Many Carbs Are In An Atkins Shake?

The nutritional info for these are:

Calories: 170
Protein: 20g
Fat: 2.1g
Carbs: 2g

Only 2g of carbs which is great. It could be the reason they are voted #2 on the list of meal replacement shakes.

Again we mix it with a 50/50 blend of water and milk. This tends to thicken it up leaving you feeling fuller for longer. This is the secret to lose 3kg in 10 days.

What Do You Eat On The 2Sad Diet

Wifey and I are meat eaters so our Dinner usually consists of a type of meat be it pork or beef. We will a generous serving of vegetables or salads.

Dinner is big. Not because we are ravenous but because we want to fit in all the macronutrients and anti oxidants our body needs.

This means eating food of all colours and textures. We even have a treat occasionally. We are of the opinion that we should not deny ourselves of any pleasures. Simply don’t eat as much of it as we did previously.

How Much Weight Have I Lost On The 2Sad Diet

Remember this is for 10 days only. I started at 101kg or 222lbs. (Wifey has forbidden me to put her stats here.)

I have lost 3.2 kg and Wifey has lost 2.9. Already we both feel different from the 2sad diet. No more feeling sluggish and bloated in the morning. Even this small a loss has made some clothes feel less snug.

It is probably too early to see or feel a lot of change but it is happening.
